How does weekly ordering work?

We operate on a weekly ordering system.

Orders for the upcoming week close every Friday at 10:00 AM.

After the cutoff, we prepare all meals fresh over the weekend and deliver them at the start of the week.

You place a new order each week when you’re ready, no automatic renewals.

When are meals delivered?

Deliveries take place Sunday or Monday, depending on your area within the Lower Mainland.

You’ll receive your meals fully prepared, fresh, and ready for the week ahead.

Do you offer meal prep in Vancouver?

Yes. Salt & Week prepares fresh weekly meals in Vancouver and delivers them locally each week. Our meal prep service is designed for people who want healthy but tasty, ready-to-eat meals without cooking every night.

What if I miss the Friday cutoff?

If you place your order after Friday at 10:00 AM, your meals will be prepared and delivered the following week — not the upcoming Sunday/Monday.

For example, if you order on Friday evening, your delivery will arrive the Sunday/Monday of the next week.

We close weekly orders on Friday 10:00 AM so we can plan ingredients carefully and cook everything fresh.

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver to select areas across the Lower Mainland, including Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Richmond, West Vancouver, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody and Surrey.

A flat $10 delivery fee applies to all weekly orders.

If you’re unsure whether your address falls within our delivery zone, feel free to contact us before ordering.

Is this a subscription?

No.

Our weekly plans do not auto-renew.

You simply order each week before Thursday’s cutoff if you’d like meals for the following week.

This gives you full flexibility without long-term commitments.

How many meals are included?

Each weekly plan includes:

• 10 freshly prepared meals
• Fully cooked and individually portioned

The only difference between plans is portion size (Light, Balanced, or Hearty).

How do I choose my meals?

After selecting your plan, you will choose exactly 10 meals from the available menu.

You can mix and match freely, including selecting the same meal more than once.

What’s the difference between Light, Balanced, and Hearty?

The difference is the portion size, so you can choose what best matches your appetite and routine.

Light is perfect for smaller appetites, lighter eaters, or anyone looking for a more portion-conscious option that still feels satisfying.

Balanced is the best fit for most people and offers a comfortable middle ground between lighter and larger portions.

Hearty is designed for bigger appetites, higher calorie needs, or anyone who likes a more generous portion. It can also be shared by two people with smaller appetites.

Can I repeat the same meal multiple times?

Yes. You can select the same dish more than once within your 10-meal selection.

Are the meals fresh or frozen?

All meals are prepared fresh each week and delivered refrigerated.

They are designed to stay fresh throughout the week when stored properly in the fridge.

How do I store and reheat the meals?

Store meals in the refrigerator upon delivery. Meals can be reheated in the microwave, or in the oven or on the stovetop after removing them from the container.

“What if I’m not home during delivery?”

You’ll receive SMS or email notifications with tracking updates so you know when to expect your delivery. If you’re not home at the time of delivery, your meals will remain cold for several hours. We recommend refrigerating them as soon as possible once you return.
